Dominique is very kind, discreet and very helpful. The house is very clean. Everything is designed for well-being. Very quiet place. The sea is 300 m away and the hiking trails are numerous. I recommend the Huitrière for the restoration. Wonderful region that leaves unforgettable memories.

"Schnuckeliges" kleines bretonisches Steinhaus in angenehmer ruhiger Lage und mit Zugang ( max. 5 min. laufen ) zu einem herrlichen Rundwanderweg entlang der Klippen. Nette Betreuung der Übergabe vor Ort und Vorbereitung des Hauses ( Bettwäsche, Handtücher etc.) perfekt. Gute Ausstattung mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine. Kühlschrank etwas zu klein zumindest für mehr als 3 Personen. Bei längerem Aufenthalt ist die Wohnfläche eher für max. 4 Personen geeignet. Kontakt zu netter Vermieterin zu jeder Zeit sehr gut, auch sprachlich, da sie sehr gut Deutsch spricht. Fazit: Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen !!!!!

This cottage is decorated with great care and everything is planned to feel at home. It is very well equipped, its sheltered terrace facing south allows you to enjoy the outdoors at the slightest ray of sunshine. The cottage is also very clean. My stay in Cancale in this cottage was perfect for my needs. It was secure, comfortable, stylish and easy to live in. It had everything I needed for my month long stay while researching my book. Just a short walk to the quaint village of Cancale and only 200 yards from the beach ensured a couple of delightful walks. Dominique was considerate and professional and I can not fault either the service or product I received. Ideal zum wandern und Fahrradfahren.Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Der kleine Garten lädt zum erholen ein. Es ist ausgesprochen ruhig.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.

Dieses gemütliche Ferienhaus ist mit 2 Schlafzimmern (jeweils französische Betten) sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten vom Küstenwanderweg entfernt, über den man in ca. 40 min bis zum Hafen von Cancale gelangt. Entscheidet man sich für die Straßenvariante, so erreicht man nach ca. 15 Gehminuten Bäckerei, Supermarkt, Cafè und den Markt (der Sonntags stattfindet). Nach weiteren 10 Minuten gelangt man unten zum Hafen mit seinen zahlreichen Restaurants.
Die Küche ist nicht nur mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (sogar Plastikschüsseln mit Deckeln in sämtlichen Größen),sondern auch farblich sehr geschmackvoll aufeinander abgestimmt. Anders als man es sonst von Ferienhäusern gewohnt ist.Küche und Wohnzimmer führen zur Terrasse raus. Zur Zeit gibt es noch kein WLAN, aber das soll laut der netten Vermieterin Dominique (die übrigens sehr gut Deutsch spricht) im Sommer nachgerüstet werden. Es gibt nur französische TV-Sender, einzig auf Arte gibts die Möglichkeit deutschsprachig zu schauen.
Das Haus hat einen eigenen PKW-Stellplatz hinter der einladenden Terrasse (Liegestühle sind vorhanden), wo auch genügend Platz ist,um Fahrräder abzustellen. Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Wohnlage, an dem (gefühlt) nicht mehr als 5 Autos pro Tag vorbeifahren.
Pure Erholung. Absolut empfehlenswert !!!

Old small stone house, very well refurbished and well located, quiet, near the path of the customs officers (from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea).
Very nice beaches a few kilometers away (too far away to get there on foot).
As the title suggests, all the equipment (kitchen, living room, bathroom, sanitary facilities, garden, terrace) is largely complete.
3 downsides: 2 very small rooms where the older ones have some difficulty bending to bed (the slope of the roof eats half of the available space). The electric radiator at the bottom struggles to heat the ground floor. On the other hand, it is enough to heat the floor: rising heat… Fortunately, a Swedish wood stove can overcome this feeling of cold.
We were present at the beginning of April 2017: the day was often sunny, and the evening was rather chilly.
3rd downside. : difficulties to communicate: no Wifi, GSM network quite often inaccessible (Answer = 4G + network and Wifi since 2018)

A pleasant house where you feel good. Nothing is missing. The owners are very
welcoming.
The kitchen is super equipped. One of the rooms has a magnificent terrace that must be very pleasant in the summer.
It is just missing for people who own a dog that the garden is enclosed but it seems to me that this should soon be realized.
Other than that, everything is perfect. The sea is very close as is the coastal path.
The center of Cancale is also close as well as the port.
It is with great pleasure that I will return to this house

The house is superb and very well managed. A small logbook could be friendly
so that each tenant notes their ratings. We enjoyed the warmth of the stove in the evening.
The homemade jam was delicious. We recommend this rental and advise your future visitors a visit to the Restaurant "A contre courant" very very well.
