Activities
Idleness or hiking, cultural or sporting discovery,
all information on local activities and events is accessible to you in our cottages.
You can spend hours there and will be spoilt for choice…

An inexhaustible source of water activities, the Sea side will allow you – among other things – to try your hand at:

Fishing on foot at low tide and discovering the foreshore (provided you put the raised pebbles back in their exact position before moving on to the next),
delicious shrimp fishing in the bay of Mont St-Michel,

fishing for ligne from the peaks or beaches (sea bass, sea bream, place, mackerel),
sea trips with a professional fishing guide on St-Malo,

Hiking along the GR 34 coastal path that passes 200 meters from our houses,
it borders the entire coast from Mont St-Michel to St-Malo and goes around Brittany,
Sailing in dinghy, catamaran, board or tank, surfing, stand-up paddle, kite-surfing, sea kayaking… with the many clubs present on the beaches of the coast: Sailing station in Port-Mer, Surf School in St-Malo, hirel or Cherrueix beach,

outings in old rigging : the Bisquine in Cancale,
replica of the boats that went fishing for wild oysters in the bay of Mont St-Michel,
the Renard in St-Malo, replica of Robert Surcouf's famous privateer ship,

a day trip to the archipelago of the Chausey Islands (shuttle to St-Malo and Granville, water taxi to Cancale), to observe the magic of the largest tides in Europe,
Swimming – simply – on the beautiful beaches that border Cancale
(Port-Briac is the closest to the houses, 800 meters by the coastal path or by the alley that passes in front of the houses)
Napping on the sand is also a great activity!

On the Land side, bike rides on all the small roads that crisscross the seaside will allow you to taste alternately the maritime life and the rural life of the country, lovers of horseback riding will find their happiness with the local equestrian centers less than 5 kms from Cancale, 3 beautiful golf courses are also close (Le Tronchet, Dol and Dinard).

On the Sky side, the discovery of the coastline and the Bay of Mont St-Michel aboard a microlight with a seasoned
pilot
is possible from the Nielles track near the Karting of St Benoît-des-Ondes, 5 kms from Cancale (site "Air'n Bay").
Gastronomy
Traditionally turned towards the riches of land and sea, Brittany is renowned for its rich and varied gastronomy.

Cancale – classified as a remarkable site of taste – is no exception: the famous oysters and bouchot mussels grown in the bay, local fish and crustaceans fresh caught, pancakes and cakes for all appetites, salted butter, berry berries …
All these products can be found at the large weekly Sunday morning market or at the flavor market in the old quarter of the city center on Thursday evening in summer.
The many restaurants present on the port of La Houle will satisfy young and old and all widths of budgets,
including 2 starred restaurants: Le Breizh Café (on the port) and Le Coquillage (4 kms, locality Le Buot, road to St Benoit-des-Ondes).

As gastronomy is also important to us, our houses are equipped with everything you need
to cook, simmer and enjoy seafood and land.
You will also find some "homemade" recipes for cooking local seafood in the filing cabinet of each house.
